Aflac contributes 100% of the individual employee premium for the individual basic Accident, Cancer and Hospital Confinement Indemnity and Hospital Intensive Care plans. Some Aflac policies contain an annual Wellness Benefit.
Aflac offers employees a 401(k) plan, with 100% matching up to 4% of their salaries (subject to IRS limitations), an employee stock purchase program, and other financial incentives. There is also the potential for year-end profit-sharing bonuses for all employees, and rewards for tenure and superior performance.

No one can process and pay faster than Aflac. One Day PaySM is Aflac’s way of making sure your claim gets processed and approved the same day you submit it, so you can get paid in a day, to help your life stay on track. We’re built to process and pay, and not to deny and delay.

Do I have to pay taxes on my Aflac money?
The proceeds of an accident and health policy, like AFLAC are not reportable as income so long as you did not deduct the premiums, and so long as this is not an employer provided fringe benefit. ... Therefore, you may receive a W-2 form from your employer that will include the taxable benefits amount you received.


How long does it take to get your money from Aflac?
You can simply upload the documentation within 28 days of completing the Aflac SmartClaim® process in the 'Claims Details' section under 'My Claims' at www.aflac.com/mypolicy. You processed my claim quickly but it took me 5 days, beyond the date the claim was paid, to receive my check in the mail.


How much does Aflac pay for an emergency room visit?
Aflac will pay $100 when a covered person receives treatment for a covered sickness or accidental injury in a hospital emergency room, including triage, and a charge is incurred. This benefit is payable twice per calendar year, per policy.
